The greatest poem

The greatest poem was written in
6 languages, with a baby in one arm,
while standing, intermittently drinking
a cup of coffee, sighing, yawning and
every now and then, gesticulating.

The greatest poem in 2 unknown languages:
one forgotten and three barely legible, was
composed outdoors, to soothe a child, in
9 minutes 23 seconds, waving to someone
inside a glass window.
* * *

The greatest poem has been recently lost,
accidentally, of course, to general calm
and expert indifference. Misplaced after
misunderstanding with little consequence
or mourning, and will not be found again.

(but you and I, we – know it by heart)
